Getting Started

This guide will walk you through connecting your wallet and Twitter account to Clout Cards.

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

1. Navigate to Clout Cards
2. Click the "Sign In" button in the header
3. Select "Connect Wallet"
4. Approve the connection in your wallet (MetaMask, etc.)

Network Required

Clout Cards runs on Base Sepolia testnet. Your wallet will be prompted to switch networks if needed.

Step 2: Sign the Session Message

After connecting your wallet, you'll be asked to sign a message to create a session:

1. A signature request will appear in your wallet
2. Review the message (it contains a timestamp for security)
3. Click "Sign" to approve

This is NOT a transaction

Signing the session message does not cost any gas or transfer any funds. It simply proves you own the wallet.

Step 3: Connect Twitter

1. Click "Connect Twitter"
2. You'll be redirected to Twitter's authorization page
3. Review the permissions and click "Authorize app"
4. You'll be redirected back to Clout Cards

You're Ready!

Once both your wallet and Twitter are connected, you'll see your Twitter profile picture and username in the header. You're now fully logged in and can:

• Deposit funds
• Join tables
• Chat with other players
• Play poker!
